Attended Utah State University, active member of the LDS Church. Temple worker for 10 years, ward clerk, stake missionary, stake farm supervisor, executive secretary, and other positions,. Retired from Hill Air Force Base after 20 years.
Survivors include wife; son and four daughters, Colleen (Eugene) Sorensen, Salt Lake; G. DeVon (Edyth) Jensen, Dorothy (Earl) Avis, all Sandy; Dixie (Allen) Winterer, Thousands Oaks, Calif.; Peggy (David) House of Layton; 31 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; one sister, Reah Hockings, Mackay, Idaho; Preceded in death by parents; four brothers, four sisters; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
