Henrietta M. Keck Dies In Ogden; Service Monday
Henrietta Magee Keck, 87, died Saturday morning at an Ogden hospital. She was a former resident of Logan.
She was born at Greenwood, Nebraska, on May 27, 1878 to Ashford and Mary Miller Magee.
On September 11, 1901, she married Warren C. Keck, of Aurora, Nebraska. To this union was born one son, Wendell Magee Keck.
In 1911 the family moved to Hood River, Oregon, where Mr. Keck operated a commercial apple orchard. In 1926, they moved to Salem, Oregon where Mrs. Keck lived until 1950 when she moved to Logan. She moved to Ogden in 1957.
She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service. She had been a member of the PEO sisterhood since 1908.
Surviving are her son who is editor for the U. S. Forest Service in Ogden, and was a member of the USU staff.
A memorial service will be held at the First Methodist Church in Ogden at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 20. Interment will be in the City View Cemetery, Salem, Oregon. There will be no viewing and the family requests no flowers.
