It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aulbert Agee (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Madison co, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2008, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Son of Newland and Bertha Broadus Agee. Husband of Christine Singer Agee.

RICHMOND - Aulbert Agee , 91, of Lexington, the husband of Christine Singer Agee , passed away Sun, Feb 17, 2008, at Kenton Healthcare Center, Lexington, following a long illness. He was born on Aug 23, 1916 in Madison County, to the late Newland and Bertha Broaddus Agee . Mr. Agee was a member of the Newby Christian Church at Newby, a retired farmer and a longtime painter, having painted many prominent local buildings, including the President's Home at E.K.U., in his 30-plus years as a painter. In addition to his loving wife of over 68 years, Christine, he is survived by his daughter, Wilma A. Spencer of a daughter-in-law, Lois D. Agee of three granddaughters, Judy Wiley and Amy Heierman, both of Beaufort, SC, and Marie Yaste of Paris, KY and two great grandsons, Brian K. Yaste and Lucas W. Yaste. He was preceded in death by his son, Rondal Agee and a brother, J. B. Agee . Services will be conducted at 1pm Tue at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Rev. J. K. Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at the Richmond Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brian, Lucas and Keith Yaste and Trent DeRosett. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Mon at Oldham, Roberts & Powell. To express condolences
