Leora Hurst was the daughter of James E. Hurst and Mary Ellen White. She was born and grew up in Louisiana. She married Albert Bossley. They had one son born while they were living in Louisiana. Albert's job resulted in a move to Texas, settling first in Montgomery County where their daughter was born, and then in the Sugar Land area where they reared their family. Retiremernt moved them to Baytown, Texas where they lived the remainder of their lives.
