Hatfield, Linda lost her long, hard-fought battle with cancer and lupus on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Hoag Hospital. She was surrounded by her beloved son, Dustin, and her cherished daughter, Vallyn, her mother, Coni, and many other friends and family at Hoag Hospital. Linda was born in Berwyn, IL and spent her childhood in Riverside, IL. In her early twenties, she found the love of her life and moved to CA to be with Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers. Although she suffered from lupus for many years, it never stopped her from experiencing the joys of life. In honor of her courage, Bobby created the Bobby Hatfield Charity Golf Classic--they raised millions. Linda was the type of person people loved to be around. She was vibrant, witty, loving and drop dead gorgeous. She had a way about her of making others feel comfortable and putting them at ease. Linda found peace at her river house in Parker, AZ where she would relax in the sun and go on boat rides. She enjoyed bowling, playing tennis, and golf. She loved getting massages, cooking, watching her favorite TV shows, and most of all spending time with friends and family. Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby. She is survived by her mother, Coni, children, Dustin and Vallyn; two brothers, Kip and Rick; sister, Gay; a host of nieces and nephews, and the family dogs, Rocky and Rambo. Her unrivaled ways will be carried on in those she loved. A viewing will take place at Pacific View Mortuary on 5/16... from 4-8pm. The burial will take place on 5/17 at 3pm followed by a celebration of Linda's life at Mariners Church at 5pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Lupus International at 17985 Sky Park Circle, #J, Irvine, CA 92614 or email [email protected].
