T.W. Moran Dies at Home Saturday. Old-Timer Long With Police and Fire Departments of City Passes

Timothy William Moran, 77, long time resident of Great Falls and for many years connected with the local police and fire departments, died at his home, 812 Fifth avenue south. Mr. Moran had been a resident of Great Falls for nearly half a century, coming here from Minneapolis about 48 years ago. He was born at Brattleboro, Vt., Sept. 5, 1859. Upon coming to Great Falls Mr. Moran was employed by the local fire department. He subsequently became connected with the police department. For several years his employment was between the two departments. For the last 25 years he had been with the police department, retiring about five years ago.

There survive a widow and a niece, Mrs. Joe McNaught of this city. Mr. Moran had been in failing health for the last seveal months.
