He was married to Mayme B. Redenbaugh, May 17, 1905. To this union one child was born, Mildred, now Mrs Ivan Burks, Kansas City, Missouri.
His wife departed this life December 8, 1917. On March 21, 1921, he was married to Golda Manley. He is survived by his wife, daughter, a grandson, his father, two brothers, Ora and Raymond Cade both of new Market, four sisters, Mrs Oscar Roush and Mrs Harry Borland, both of Gravity, Mrs Alva Jones, Erick, Oklahoma, and Mrs Harry Brown, New Market.
Most of his life was spent in Taylor and Page counties. His acquaintances are many. He was an employe at the State Hospital in Clarinda for about six years. Lately he was employed at the State Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska.
His body was taken to the Walker Funeral Home Dec 26 and funeral service was held in the Christian church in New Market, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev B.F. Hall officiating. An unusually large crowd was present. Interment in Old Memory cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Wilbur Manley, Orvil Manley, Meirl Slaworth, Ledge Crawford, Roy Mathewes and Lloyd Mathewes. Singers were Mrs Eva Cade and Miss Opal Wallace with Mrs Opal Brown at the piano. CLARINDA HERALD JOURNAL, Clarinda, Iowa, Jan 1, 1934
