Rev. Walter E. Allison, 68, former Nazarene minister of Olney, died early Tuesday morning at his home at Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was living in retirement.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the J. J. Moran and Sons Funeral Home at Decatur. Burial will be in the Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rev. Allison had served as pastor of Church of the Nazarene located in Shelbyville, Eureka, Assumption and Olney. He served as pastor of the Olney church from 1930-1932. He was also stationed at Mt. Vernon and Murphysboro.

Surviving are his wife, Pansy; son, Walter E. Jr., Bel Air, Md.; daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Velma) Greenwald, Scottsdale; Mrs. Charles (Oma) Condiff, Oreana; Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Unger, Security, Colo., Mrs. Kenneth (Sharon) Pate, Charleston; brother George, Bourbonnais; sisters, Mrs. Maude Cain, Mrs. Goldie Ashby, both of Shelbyville, Mrs. Henry (Silvia) Beahl, Lakewood; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
