Dorothy Ann Dowdy December 23, 1928 - May 17, 2011 Dorothy was born December 23, 1928 in Porum, OK to parents, Robert C. Dowdy and Margaret Daughtery, and died May 17, 2011 in Bakersfield, CA. She graduated from Porum High School May 15, 1947. She attended and graduated from Connors State Agricultural College with an Associate in Science May 26, 1949. She is survived by her brother, Hubert Dowdy of Broken Arrow, OK and many nieces and nephews of Bakersfield and Oklahoma. Graveside services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, on Tuesday, May 24th at 2:00pm. Chaplin Wayne of Hoffmann Hospice will be officiating.
