H. D. SULLIVAN
Mr. H. D. Sullivan, 85, of Peoria died Thursday, December 19, at a Clifton nursing home. He was born August 12, 1917 in Midlothian, son of Charlie E. and Lorraine Allen Sullivan. He moved to Welch in West Texas as a teenager,
where he attended Pride School. He had lived in Fort Worth and Bynum before moving to Peoria in 1954. He farmed until 1963 and then was an auctioneer until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of Peoria Baptist Church. He married Ernestine Huddleston October 24, 1937, and she preceded him in death May 24, 1993. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Dick Sullivan. Survivors include: three children and their spouses, Sharon and Charles Tracy and Mike and Debbie Sullivan, all of Peoria and Richard B. and Nancy Sullivan of Midland; two sisters, Jo Crowell of Eunice, New Mexico and Jean McKnight of Belton; one sister-in-law; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 21, at Marshall and Mar-shall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Andy Andersen and Rev. Lynn Parks officiat-ing. Burial was at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to Peoria Baptist Church.
