Thelma Baker Roush, age 93 of Rogersville, passed away, Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Signature Health Care of Rogersville.
She was the daughter of the late William Perry Baker and Elizabeth Jane Glass Baker. Thelma had been employed by both the Akron Candy Company and Goodyear. SHe resided in Akron, OH most of her adult life and upon retirement she moved to Cleveland, TN.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Arch Bunner; her second husband, William Roush; sisters, Nettie Palmer, Ruby Baker, Mae Pitts, Melinda Saffels and Rebecca Baker; brothers, Kyle W. Baker and Robert Baker.
She is survived by her only child, Elizabeth Bunner Shaffer of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Brian Singer of Akron, OH, Amy Brown of Georgetown, TN and Jessica Walker of Cleveland, TN; great-grandchildren, Zachary Lee Brown, Rebecca Nicole Brown, Taylor Dewayne Walker and Tristan Blake Walker; nieces, Sarah Baker Murphy of Morristown, Nell Baker Short of Bean Station, Frances Lane of Kingsport, Nancy Huffman of Pickerington, OH and Etta Jane Heller of Padre Island, TX.
