Services will be 11 am Saturday, Aug.27, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose for Robert M. Bierschbach, age 49, of Melrose who died Wednesday in Long Prairie Township, Todd County, Minnesota. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Melrose, Minnesota.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 9 pm and Saturday from 8 to 10:30 am at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Robert Bierschbach was born February 27, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Raymond A. and Lorraine D. (Van Heel) Bierschbach. He graduated from Long Prairie High School in 1974. Bob was employed by Kraft Foods and was also a truck driver for many years. He loved going to look over his farm and ride 4-wheeler. Bob was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.
Survivors include his mother, Lorraine Biersch-bach of Melrose; brothers and sisters, Jerry Bierschbach (Sherry) of Albany, Allen Bierschbach of Melrose, James Bierschbach of Albany, David Bierschbach of Melrose, Mary Hollenkamp (David) of Burtrum, and Linda Bierschbach-Morton (Mark) of Melrose; nephews and nieces, Michael, John and Jodie Bierschbach, Judy and Jason Bierschbach, Brian and Vicki Hollenkamp, Adam and Ashley Bierschbach and Lydia Butkowski; and great niece, Jasmine Bierschbach.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond and sister, Joanie Bierschbach.
