Carroll C Arvig is the son of Thomas L. and Mildred M. (Oliver) Arvig, born April 21, 1915 in Pine River, Cass County, Minnesota. Carroll C. Arvig is 1 of the 3 Arvig brothers in the family communications business.

After Carroll completed his company trained in Melrose, he purchased the Twin Valley-Ulen Telephone Company in 1948. The company services the Twin Valley area of Norman County in northwest Minnesota.

Carroll passed away June 14, 1962 in Norman County, Minn and he is buried in plot 60 of row 2 in Section E of St. Mary's Cemetery in Melrose.

After his death, the company was run by his widow, the former Bernice Tembrock, originally from Melrose, Minn.
