Ephriam (E.C.) Clonce, age 87 of Rogersville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Rogersville Care and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.

He was a member of East Rogersville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He was a 50-year member of Overton Lodge #5 F&AM and was a member of Hasson Chapter #179 Order of Eastern Star. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and was a member of Jericho Shrine Temple.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia D. Clonce; parents Jesse and Mattie Clonce; and several brother and sisters.

The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Colboch Price Funeral Home. Masonic services followed at 2 p.m. Thursday. Following the Masonic services, funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John North officiating. Interment followed in Highland Cemetery.
