Margaret Kaiser Peters was born in Bavaria, and brought to Ohio by her parents John Leonard and Margaret Kaiser. Her mother died of the bloody flux in Circleville, Ohio. Her father remarried and brought up his second family in Marion, Iowa. Margaret married Charles Peters, also from Germany and they adopted a daughter Vanessa, who married Leroy Donohue.
