Daughter of Anson and Amanda Jones Lindley. Married to Edgar H. Amidon, October 20, 1908 at Sparta, WI. Lived on a farm in this area for many years. She taught school in Monroe and Juneau counties for 19 years. Husband preceded her in death in 1948. She and son, Harmon, then resided with her brother, Robert Lindley, on the A.F. Lindley family farm near Mill Bluff (now WI state park). She was a charter member of the Bethel Baptist Church of rural Camp Douglas. She was survived by one son, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
