Another Veteran Gone-The death of Walter Judd, a veteran of the First N.Y. Independent Battery, is announced to-day. He served the full term of four years with that organization and three years in the regular service. He was a good solder and a kind husband and father. His disease panter's colic, with which he was prostrated on Thursday last, although previously suffering from it for four months, terminsted fatally on Sunday morning. He leaves a wife and one child.

NOTE:

In the Dec.22,1879,Auburn New and Bulletin also Evening Auburnian, the G.A.R. was looking for the graves of Veterans that were not marked, so they could put markers on them. I do not know if they ever found Walter's, he was on the list, in this cemetery. Many of the grave stones in the cemetery are in bad shape. Or laying face down. So I was unable to fine if it was there or not.
