There is a lot of Poe's in the cemetery--so dont know if the Poe on her stone is her maiden name or not

Evelyn Marie Poe Yarbrough, 80, of Weleetka, Oklahoma., died December 29, 2000 at the Wetumka General Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, at the McGill Cemetery in Potwin.

She was born September 4, 1920 to Milo and Bessie (Sample) Poe in Potwin. She attended schools in Potwin and graduated from high school.

She married Carbon Gale Yarbrough, January 11, 1956 at Miami, Oklahoma.

She and her husband had previously lived in Wichita and had worked in the defense plants to support the efforts of World War II. She retired from Beech Aircraft Company.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include: sisters, Elinor Anderson and Frances Yaryan, both of El Dorado and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorials may be made to the Potwin Christian Church.

Burial will be in McGill Cemetery in Potwin, Ks.
