Bill was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict having proudly served in the United States army as a Pilot. Bill retired with Tenneco also a pilot with PHI for years.
Sadly missed but joyfully remembered by his wife Minerva G. Baker of Mamou; his two daughters, Gwendolyn Ann Baker of Mamou and Pamela B. Berzas of Duralde; two brothers, Harold E. Baker of Rogue River, Oregon; numerous Nieces and Nephews; seven grandchildren, Bobby Wayne Fontenot, Edgar Lee Boone, A.J. Buxton, Brandons. Berzas, Lucas D. Berzas, Garrett R. Berzas and Kathleen C. Berzas; ten great-grand children, ameron, Chloe, Camille, Carson, Daisy, Scott, Kaye, Macie, Londyn, Cooper Berzas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Alice Baker; one great-granddaughter, Marianne Alisha Berzas.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of services.
