Biography
Aileen Ivy Cudd, age 92 of Madera, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at San Joaquin Gardens in Fresno, following a brief illness. Aileen was a native of Tuckerman, Arkansas a former resident of Dixon California and a Madera resident since 1967. A homemaker, Aileen was a devout Christian and active member of The Sunset Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed the activities at the Frank Bergon Senior Center, and from 1996 through 2002 was a volunteer at Madera City Hall.
Aileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband William "Bill" Cudd in 1991, and by a son Buddy Cudd. She is survived by her children; William Don Cudd and his wife Joan of Sanger, Linda Sue and her husband Eugene Sue of Fresno, Nancy Burgess and her husband Virgil of Madera, and daughter-in-law Linda Cudd. She is the sister Preston Hartsell and his wife Carol of Clovis, and Audra Shaeffer and her husband Ray of Modesto. Aileen is the beloved grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 2 to 6 PM at Jay Chapel. A funeral service will be on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 10 AM in the Sunset Avenue Church of Christ in Madera with interment following in Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Sunset Avenue Church of Christ.
