He was born September 25, 1884, in the state of Maryland. He was married to Ouida Curtis, and had ranched for a number of years near Manhattan.
Campbell was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Besides the widow, other survivors include; two sons, Jim Campbell, Route 1, Manhattan, and Ernie Campbell, Great Falls; one daughter, Margaret Beck, Billings; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The remains are at Dahl and Vial Funeral Home, where funeral arrangements will be announced later.
