Anna M. Lengerich, 82, of Decatur, a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Adams County Memorial Hospital. The Kokomo native had worked for General Motors in Kokomo for seven years and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Women of St. Mary's and St. Vincent dePaul.
Surviving are sons Steven J. of Sheridan, Patrick, J., David L. and Mark A., all of Decatur, and Paul G. of Zionsville; daughters Kathleen R. Lengerich of Westfield, Jean M. Survance of Cannelburg and Rita L. Gill of Needham; 16 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, two brothers and two sisters.
Prayer services at 9:20 a.m. Saturday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, precede Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur. Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. today with a 3 p.m. rosary service at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur.
