GREEN SPRINGS
Mr. and Mrs. William Horton are
celebrating their golden wedding an-
niversary at their home on Kansas
street New Year's day. Mr. and Mrs.
Horton were married at Tiffin fifty
years ago by the Rev. Mr. Good of
the Reformed Church. They lived on
the Horton farm southwest of town
for many years and are now living in
Green Springs and have many
friends in the community. Mr. and
Mrs. Horton's granddaughter, Eva Mae
Berelekamp, residing on the Hor-
ton farm, was married on New Year's
day to Myron Garland, son of Mrs.
Della Garland of south of Green
Springs. The wedding took place at
the home of the Rev. M. T. Ayers,
retired Methodist minister of Green
Springs who lives across the road
from the Horton's. The couple was
attended by Miss Marie Hauden-
shild of Kenton and Eugene Berle-
kamp, brother of the bride. After the
ceremony, the wedding dinner was
served at the Horton home where
twenty-five relatives and friends of
the families gathered. The newly-
married couple will reside with the
groom's mother on the Garland farm.
The guests included Mr. and Mrs.
William Horton, Mr. and Mrs. Myron
Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Berle-
kamp, Eugene Berlekamp, Mrs. Della
Garland, Mr. and Mrs. George Hor-
ton, Mr. and Mrs. John Garland, Mr.
and Mrs. Gilbert Garland, Walter
and Linus Garland, Mr. and Mrs. El-
mer Emery, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Mil-
ler, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Horton of
Clyde, Mrs. Ida Unser and Miss Alta
Unser of Fremont. Miss Marie Haud-
enshild of Kenton.
