Mrs. Thelma Wright Warren, 86 of Patterson, passed away Monday morning (May 23, 2011) at her residence.
Born in Gilmer County on February 21, 1925, Mrs. Warren had lived in Pierce County for most of her life. She was a homemaker and had also helped her husband on the family farm. Mrs. Warren was a member of Bristol Baptist Church and loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. A. & Minnie Blalock Wright, and by a son, Donald James Warren.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Charles Warren, Sr. of Patterson; a daughter, Mary Rowland of Patterson; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles, Jr. & Barbara Warren of Patterson; a sister and brother-in-law, Irene & Hubert Dubberly of Jacksonville; a brother and sister-in-law, Herman & Juanita Wright of St. Marys; 3 grandchildren, Eugene Warren of Kingsland, Patricia Hendrix of St. Marys and Valerie (Mark) Penwell of Kingsland; 6 great grandchildren, Alex Warren, Lexus Warren, Philip Griffin, Jeffrey Bryant, Noah Bryant and Alan Penwell and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Visitation:
Visitation for Mrs. Warren will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at he funeral home.
Service:
Funeral services for Mrs. Warren will be held at 11:00 o'clock Wednesday morning (May 25, 2011) at the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Bristol Cemetery.
