Les Baker, 48, passed from this world at his home surrounded by his family. He went to his final home after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be missed beyond words. He was employed by Central Blacktop for 25 years and was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Lockport, Ill.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tina (nee Eaton); his children, Rhonda, Jeremy, Joshua, Jacob and Kelli, his parents, Alvin and Leona (Peterson) Baker; brothers, Wade, Eddie and Chris; sisters, Vicki Vail, Diane Schaff and Larinda Cook; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws also survive.
