Albert James Ellenburg, 92, of 241 Martin School Road, husband of the late Mary Dodgens Ellenburg, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Waddy E. Ellenburg and Lana Jane Alexander Ellenburg.
Mr. Ellenburg was retired from Ryobi and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; a daughter and son-in-law; two brothers and four sisters; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Hamby, and four brothers.
Graveside service: Monday, April 13, 2009, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.
