Funeral services for Mr. A. B. "Art" Ledbetter, 75, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Bro. Nolan Cantrel officiating.
Burial was at the Oakley Cemetery.
Mr. Ledbetter died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a factory worker at Flow Serve Filters, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Baptist church.
Born March 18, 1933 in Overton County, he was the son of the late Spurgon and Ella (Andrews) Ledbetter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J. C. Ledbetter.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Ledbetter; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Janice Ledbetter of Livingston; 2 grandchildren, Levi Ledbetter and Jada Ledbetter both of Livingston, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Ledbetter, Richard Wells, Mike Copeland, James Huddleston, Jerry Dale, and Larry King. Honorary pallbearers were friends and coworkers of McCord and Flow Serve Filters.
