WILL: Michael wrote his Will on April 18, 1789 and indicated he lived in Upper Hanover Township of Montgomery County. Michael named his thirteen children in his Will and gave the names of those deceased and also named his son-in-laws. (Montgomery Co., Penn. Wills, Volume 1, Pages 188-190)

"....I Michael Rader of Upper Hanover Township in the county of Montgomery in the state of Pennsylvania Yeoman .... on this Eighteenth day of April in the year ... one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine make, publish and ordain this my last will ..... do bequeath to my beloved wife Catharina... nineteen acres and one half acres.... being part of my two hundred acres...which the deed John Mock to me is dated on the fifth day of December anno 1754... and then it is my will that all my just debts shall be fully paid... and further I give to my eldest son Michael Rader the sum of three pounds in cash for his right as being my eldest son... then I give and bequeath to Michael Nuss and Catharina Nuss as the two children of Jacob Nuss by my daughter Anna Mary deceased, to each of them the sum of fifteen pounds in cash.... and then I do hereby give... all the residue of my relict estate to all my here unto named thirteen children or to their heirs....in equal shares.... to my two sons Michael Rader and John Rader... to my eldest daughter Susannah the wife of Jacob Dankel and Margareth the wife of Conrad Nuss... to George Laback the husband of my daughter Anna Margareth deceased... to my daughter Barbara now the wife of Yost Wyant... to my daughter Hannah the wife of Martin Keiler... to the children and heirs of my third son Adam Rader... to my daughter Catharina... to my daughter Eve the wife of Peter Trump... to my two youngest sons Peter Rader and Henry Rader... to my youngest daughter Magdalena... (who) has not yet been provided with the necessary articles for her marriage portion... be taken out of my said estate..... and I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my above named second son John Rader and my above named son in law Yost Wyant to be the executors of my last will and testament...
