STUARTS DRAFT — Cynthia Lee Summers Huffman, 58, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Clifton Forge. Born on Nov. 13, 1952, in Clifton Forge, she was the daughter of the late John Tomlinson Summers Sr. and Edith Crawford Summers.

A graduate of Fort Defiance High School and Elizabeth Brandt School of Business, she worked at Central Tire of Verona and Valley Social Services before becoming a homemaker and stay-at-home mother.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, John Tomlinson Summers Jr.; and her sister, Diane Faye Summers Sites.
Survivors include her mother; her husband, Michael Stephen Huffman I; three children, Rebecca Huffman Hall and her husband, Adam, of Stuarts Draft, Michael Stephen Huffman II, and David Benjamin Huffman, both of the home; two grandchildren, Fiona and Gideon Hall of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Raymond Edwin Summers and his wife, Kim, of Fort Defiance; special sister-in-law Susan Huffman Sandridge and her husband, Phil, of Waynesboro; aunt Virginia Faye Crawford Robinson and her husband, Paul, of Elkins, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011, at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Home, 1870 Stuarts Draft Hwy, Stuarts Draft.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens, 1921 Shutterlee Mill Road, Staunton, with Pastor John Ward officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Joe Miskell, Keith Dishman, Denny Vance, Michael Huffman, II, David Huffman, Adam Hall, and Philip Sandridge. Honorary pallbearers will be William McElroy and Gerald Pangburn.
