"S. W. Packard, aged 68 years, died in Prescott yesterday. He was a native of Maine, a mill wright by trade and had resided here since 1891. His funeral took place this afternoon from S. A. Logan's undertaking parlors." [no reason given as to cause of death in Newspaper or in the Death Certificate]

STEPHEN W. PACKARD son of WILLIAM PACKARD & SUSAN SHERMAN of Massachusetts. Husband of RACHEL MAKIN and father of WALLACE PACKARD 1884; VICTORIA 1869; AMY JOSEPHINE 1870; IRENE 1872; LILLIAN P 1876; and JANE 1878. He lived in Maine, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Arizona.
