Christeena Zook father was Yost (Youst or Joseph) Zook.
Christiena married James W. Duncan in Ohio by Thomas Cheney, Holmes county Justice of the Peace.
Christiena's death occurred following a stage coach accident. She and James W. had been on a journey by stage. On the return home the coach overturned and Christiena was severely injured. She lived for a time but the accident proved to be the case of her death January 16, 1871 at their home. Here James W. and Christiena Duncan lived, worked and raised their family. They had brought six children with them from Ohio in 1845 and in this house five other children were born --- one girl and four boys.
What a household Christiena had to manage. After being the home of the Duncans for three generations, a delightful Grandma's house for the fourth generation and even visited by a delightful little fifth generation girl the buildings disappeared one by one.
Aged: 56y, 09m, 14d.
