FILLMORE: Chloe Pearl Baldwin Keele, deeply loved by all who knew her, passed away February 22, 2002 at the age of 99 years and 2 days.
She was born February 20, 1903 in Fillmore, Utah to James William and Irene Brunson Baldwin. She married Charles Uel Keele November 28,
1921 at Parowan, Iron County, Utah. Born of Pioneer parents and grandparents, she had courage, determination and faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which sustained her through all of life's challenges. She peacefully left this earthly home on her own free will embraced in the arms of her loving family.
She is survived by eight loving children, Eula (Jack W.) Howard, Nephi, UT; Bonnie (Lee) James; Carol (David) Watson, both of Salt Lake City; Ilene Buckley, Vance (Shirley) Keele, both of Tooele, UT; Lola (Clarence) Matheny, Loveland, CO; Lloyd (Dawnetta) Keel, Don (Starla) Keele, both of Fillmore, UT; she has 41 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two nephews and eight nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Uel Keele; her parents and siblings; two grandsons, Chris and Thomas Matheny and one great-grandson, Corie Ray Henrie and one son-in-law, Larrie Buckley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 1 p.m. in the Fillmore Stake Center at 21 South 300 West in Fillmore, UT. Friends may call Wednesday from 11-12:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment in the Fillmore City Cemetery.
