HELEN REGINA ALKIRE Age 81, of Hemet, CA, for 26 years went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at her daughter's residence. Helen was born October 7, 1929 in Buckhanan, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Charlie B. Hinkle and the late Lovey Mae (Blake) Hinkle. Helen was not only a homemaker, she was an awesome mom, grandmother and a friend. Helen enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved cooking for her family and made the best chocolate fudge in the world, and her favorite butterball cookies. She was Mrs. Clean, always finding stuff to do. Her faith in Jesus helped her through her transition to be with the LORD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph; her siblings, Charles, Jackie, Robert, Tommy and Dolly. She is survived by her daughter, Carol & husband Russ Holm of Hemet, CA; three sons, Charles & wife Ellen Alkire of Hemet, CA, William & wife Nancy Alkire of Carlsbad, CA, Rick Alkire of Murrieta, CA; three sisters, Betty Wilson of Cypress, CA, Jeanie Maynard of Newton Falls, OH, Patty Hubbard of Hemet, CA; one Brother, Freddy Hinkle of Florida; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory, 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA. Graveside service will be on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. A celebration of Helen's life will be at 2:00 PM at Bible Fellowship Church located at 26835 Columbia St., Hemet, CA.
