Blanche Schiller Penfold, a resident of Skagit County since 1930, passed away on May 17, 2011 in Mount Vernon.
She was born in Republic, Washington on August 31, 1911.
Blanche is survived by two sons, Homer (Dorothy) Hughes, of Hamilton, and John (Janet) Tatham, of Anchorage, AK; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three husbands: Homer Hughes, Sr., Harry Tatham, and Tommy Penfold; and one grandson, James Tatham, of Anchorage.
Blanche was a long time member of the Central United Methodist Church of Sedro Woolley. She was a great lady and will be missed by all of her family.
At Blanche's request she will be cremated and there will be no services.
