Thomas E. Haddon, 87, formerly of New Kensington, died in Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, following a long illness.
He was a resident of New Kensington since the early 1920's, son of Thomas H. and Molly (McKee) Haddon.
He was employed by Alcoa, where he retired in 1957. He was a member of the Alcoa Retirees Company of New Kensington.
Survived by a brother, Harry H., of Leechburg; two sisters: Mary J. McDonald of Leechburg and Sarah of New Kensington; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Haddon's wife, Blanche L. Haddon, died August 12, 1979. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: James H. and John E., and a sister, Emma Ross.
Friends were received at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home, New Kensington. The Rev. Norman C. Young, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, New Kensington, conducted a service. Burial was made in the family lot at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
