Ray E. Alexander Jr., 77, of Afton, formerly of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of their children, Ruth Ann Alexander; and his daughter, Mary Maat.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Kay Ferguson; six children, William H. Alexander, Jeanette Alexander, Grace Alexander, Jennifer Rose and her husband, Gary, Kenneth Alexander, and Lynn Horton; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road.
A graveside service was held Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Dale Memorial Park.
