2 Former Residents Die; Are Brought Here For Burial Two former residents of Carroll county whose deaths occurred in the past week, were buried here yesterday and today.
Frank Balcom, 70, died Monday (3 Jul 1939) night at his home in Winchester, Ill., and the body was brought here for burial. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Christian funeral home in Mt. Carroll with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
Mr. Balcom is survived by a widow; a son, Burdette, who lives in Nebraska, and a daughter, Mrs. Norbert Hutchens, Winchester.
Judge Harry Kramer, 65, who formerly lived in the vicinity of Argo-Fa, died Sunday (2 Jul 1939) at Lexington, Ky. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Mt. Carroll and the Argo-Fa cemetery where burial was made.
He is survived by two brothers and a sister.
