Elizabeth was born in Lower Heidelberg on December 28, 1794. She was the daughter of George Eyrich and his second wife, Margaret Dock.

Elizabeth was baptized at St. John's (Hain's) Church on February 15, 1795. Her baptismal sponsors were Christian and Elizabeth Magdalena Jung.

On November 5, 1816, she married Peter Faust of Heidelberg Township. Their marriage notice appeared in the der Adler, a German newspaper in Reading, Berks County.

Records found in Berks County provide the names of five children born between 1817 and 1830: Hettie, wife of Peter Yoh; Benneville, husband of Maria Helder; Eliza, wife of Henry Coller; Pharo, 1825-1827; and Peter, husband of Annie Hinkel.

By 1830, Peter, Elizabeth, and their children, were living near Womelsdorf. On October 6, 1831, according to family lore, Peter was killed in a farming accident. A death notice for Peter appeared in the Reading Adler on October 25th. Elizabeth remained a widow for the duration of her life.

In 1848, Elizabeth purchased from Samuel Greth a one acre lot and house located at the present day intersection of Brownsville Rd. & Green Valley Rd in Lower Heidelberg. On April 1, 1864, she sold this property to her daughter and son-in-law, Hettie and Peter Yoh.

On the 18th of August 1873, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon , Elizabeth passed away at the home of her daughter Hettie.
