Mrs. Perry was born in Oakland on February 29, 1928 and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on March 15, 2004.
She had lived in Taft for the last 48 years. Mrs. Perry had been employed as a PBX operator at Rowland Communications for over 20 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Taft Ward, Golden Star Mothers and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her son, Sgt_Donald_Lee_Perry in 1968; her grandson, Donald Allen Perry; her mother, Leoline Brown and her sister, Doris Jones. Her survivors include her daughters, her son, her grandchildren, her great granddaughter, her brothers and their spouses, her sisters and their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no visitation hours scheduled and the services are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
