Hovick A. Jordan or "Peter" as he was fondly known to family and friends, was born on December 10, 1950 to Charles B. Jordan and the late Alice M. Jordan. On November 15, 2010, God chose our Peter to be with Him while joining him with those who preceded him in death; his beloved mother Alice Matilda Jordan; brothers Charles Jordan, Jr.; and Antonio Jordan.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Fairmount Hill High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and later received an honorable discharge. Peter accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Zion Baptist Church.

He was the father of two children; Kenny and Kim and grandfather of three grandchildren.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory; two children; three grandchildern; his loving father Charles B. Jordan; four sisters; Florence Jones, Florine Davis, Irene Jordan and Eunice Stokes; one brother Ricardo Jordan; one brother-in-law, Bernard Stokes; three aunts and one uncle; one very special friend; Lucy and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
