Wesley Roberts Allison, 83, of tarkville, Mississippi, formally of Ausvasse, died Thursday, August 3, 2006, at the VA Home in Koscuisko.

He was born February 17, 1923, the son of the late Hazel (Roberts) and Merritt Allison. In March he married Marlene Taylor of Woodhull, Illinois.

Survivors include a sister, Phylinda Lampe of Lexington, Kentucky, four children, Mark Allison of Starkville, Becky Payne of Auxvasse, Missouri, Barbara Haslag and Brenda Walton of Perrysburg, Ohio, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by two brothers, a sister and his former wife.

Mr. Allison served in the United States Army Air Coors during world WAR 11 where he piloted aircraft thet made numerous bombing raids over Germany.

He was a row-crop farmer in Illinois and Missouri and retired in Mississippi in 1986.

Memorial services are pending. Mr. Allison requested that his body be donated for scientific research in hopes of helping to find a cure for Alzheimers Disease.
