Mellie (Sater) Dyer, 81, formerly of Arnold Avenue, died Monday in Lancaster Health Care Center.
She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Sidney (Norman) Eads, Mrs. Lovetta Miller, Living, Mrs. Robert (Ardreth) Lingo, Logan, Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Johnson, Naples, Fla., Living, Living; two sons, Ronald (wife), Williamson, N.Y. and Living; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil and Everett Sater, both of Rockbridge; sister, Mrs. Ada Carr, Port Clinton; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 1:30 p.m., in the chapel of the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home; Rev. Roy Gearhart officiating; burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Friends may call anytime afternoon time Wednesday at the funeral home.
