Mrs. Amos Green
Gilmore, May 18-Mrs. Rebecca (Poland) Green, 76, wife of Amos Green, died yesterday afternoon at her home here after an illness of several years. She had been in a coma for the past week.
Mrs. Green, daughter of the late William and Amy Poland of Barton, was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing.
Surviving are three sons, William Green, Lonaconing; Arch Green, Gilmore, and Jesse Green,National; three daughters, Mrs. William Thorpe, Frostburg; Mrs. John House, Gilmore; and Miss Jane Green, at home; one sister, Mrs. Hannah Clark, Luke; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, with the pastor the Rev. Albert Ark, officiating. Interment will be in Old Coney Cemetery, near Lonaconing.
