Joseph Wayne Smith, 18, of 1317 North Calhoun street, died at his home at 5 o'clock Saturday morning following a three weeks' illness with stomach trouble.

He had lived in Decatur for the past 13 years. Wayne Smith was born in Mattoon, Ill May 26, 1911. He attended the Sunday school class at St. Paul's Methodist church. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith, he leaves a twin brother, Charles Everett, and another brother, Roscoe Smith, of Decatur. He also leaves five sisters; Mrs. Clarence Walter, Mrs. H. L. Camron, and Mrs. Ralph Stewart, all of Decatur; and Mrs. Ethel Mackle, of Rockford and Mrs. C. B. McGee, of Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the Moran & Sons chapel. Burial will be in Dodge Grove cemetery in Mattoon. The body will remain in the Moran & Sons Funeral home until time for llieasoauaP'lsCSgthSan (sic)
