Steve F. Torok, 86, 219 Liberty St., died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at his brother's residence.
He was born Dec. 23, 1915, in Erie, son of the late Steven and Julia Kiss Torok.
He was a metalologist/chemist at Erie Forge and Steel for 45 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Sarah Hearn Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Zukor Club, Siebenbuerger Club and Commodore Perry Yacht Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Agnes Renaud Torok, in 1996; and two sisters, Bertha Torok and Elizabeth Tillman.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph Torok and his wife, Rose, of Erie; a sister, Julia Kelly and her husband, Henry, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. A service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Sarah Hearn Church with the Rev. Jan Jenkins officiating.
Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
The Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 W. 38th St., is handling the arrangements.
