DAVENPORT - Lila M. Dugan, 85, of Davenport died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008, at the Runge Mortuary with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park.
Lila was born on July 6, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Roy and Ruth (Lunney) Hickson. Lila was united in marriage to Bernard Dugan on August 5, 1947, in Minneapolis. He preceded her in death July 14, 1971.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was employed in sales for the former Samuels Jewelers in Davenport for 20 years.
Those left to honor her memory are two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Audrey Dugan of Davenport, and Kevin and Lillianne Dugan of Saddle Brook, N.J.; grandchildren and spouses, Jennifer and Bill Schwarz, Parkview, Iowa, Kari Dugan, Davenport, Benjamin and Ruth Dugan, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Michael Dugan, Davenport, Marika Dugan, Saddle Brook, N.J.; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Neher, Tacoma, Wash.; and one brother, Patrick (Patricia) Hickson, Peoria, Ariz.
