Gilman Burrus Evans died Friday morning at his residence, 711 Parkmont, age 44 years. Survived by wife, Mrs. Lula Adams Evans; three brothers, F. N. and Henry of Mansfield, Louisiana, and Dr. A. A. Evans of Negreet, Louisiana; four sisters, Mrs. A. A. Johnson and Mrs. Asa Weed, both of Mansfield; Mrs. Lester Byron of Houston, Mrs. V. V. Van, Houston; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Evans, Mansfield; one nephew, C. G. Evans. Services 2 p. m. Saturday from Ed C. Smith & Bro chapel. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery.
