He leaves memories to be cherished by his wife of 50 years, Bonnelle Lee Cone of Statesboro. He was a loving father to his daughter, Mary Ann Cone of Statesboro; and his two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry E. Cone, Jr. and his wife Christine of Lyons, Ga. and John W. Cone and his wife Charity of Statesboro; a brother, William G. Cone of Statesboro; a sister, Eleanor Cone Gee of Statesboro; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Cone will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Thomas Deal officiating.
Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Lee, William Cone, Fred Krejca, Jack Todd, Michael Todd and Ronnie Lipsey.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 until 9 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
