Peggy E. Lovell, 82, of San Angelo passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in San Angelo.
Visitation, with family present, will be held Friday, May 20th from 6:00-8:00 in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday May 21st in Calvary Cemetery with Father Charles Greenwell and Father Fabian officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
Peggy was born October 30, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Hamet Pinson and Elise (Patterson) Archibald.
Peggy was a resident of San Angelo since 1962 and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She worked at San Angelo National Bank and retired after 18 years with Texas Commerce Bank. Flowers were her passion and upon retirement worked for Ridgway Floral. She and her husband Thomas loved to travel.
Peggy was married to Thomas P. Lovell, Jr. in 1950 in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1994. She was also preceded by her parents, sister Bobbie Lunsford and brother-in-law Bob Lunsford..
Survivors include her son Thomas P. Lovell III and wife Laura of San Angelo; daughter Kathy Frost and husband Ed of San Angelo; grandchildren Linsey Lovell, Stacy Fogle and husband Joe, Brode Dobbins, Clayton Frost and Ashley Frost; nephews Robbie and Ronnie Lunsford and niece Jerrie Lunsford-Markwalter and husband Nick.
