He was born May 20, 1958, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Bernard L. and Loretta A. Shears Mulinex.
Jeff was previously employed at People's Cartage as a fork lift operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and his flower gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Sprouse Mulinex; his daughter, Stacy Lawless Gibson of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Matthew (Shannon) Mulinex of Charleston, W.Va. and Benjamin Mulinex of Columbus; his stepdaughter, Tina Goodwin of Athens, Ohio; his sister, Sue (Steve) Parsons of Elizabeth; his brother, Steve (Debbie) of Columbus; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Mulinex.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg with Ron Mulinex officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
